Why Just Children ?
We focus on children since:
It's healthy for adults to go barefoot too. However, a high (and growing) proportion of
today's adults are fearful and inhibited about going barefoot under almost any
circumstances. And it's not surprising when one considers the myths and misinformation we absorb during our childhoods
about foot health and the perceived dangers about going barefoot. Most of us have grown up
hearing "Get your shoes on" over and over and over again.
