Why This Site ?
Having overcome our own irrational fears about going barefoot (usually acquired from our own parents and society at large) we wanted to permit our children the pleasure and health of going barefoot. During the process of overcoming opposition from well-meaning friends, family and some authorities, we have gathered a lot of useful information. We wanted to provide a forum to share this with other parents.

We have no membership list. We pay no dues.
We are not an organization in the strict sense of the word.
We meet at this website and share information. That's it.
